Contrast....
The theme I was working on when taking this set of photos was Contrast,  I looked at photographers such as,
David Bailey,  Kevin Michael Reed and Peer Lindgreen. I wanted to explore the use of props in my contrast photography so I got the model to hold a camera, What I believe works well in this photo is how the models eyes are looking straight though the camera and the expression on her face.

Here I got the model to pose with a teddy, What i was trying to portray was an element of fun
and childlikeness by getting the model to play with a teddy bear which also helps with the
Childlikeness that how the model is cross eyed when looking up. While editing I left a gap at
The top of the image as she's looking up into a space.  While taking these photos I tried a number
Of different tops one was black, one white and one grey. The grey one worked the best as her hair
Was blonde and when turned into Black & White the tomes are all very similar which works well.

Jean Francios Campos...
When looking at Jean Francios Campos work what I liked about it was the contrast in colour that he used in his work and also the vividness to an object or area, in this case on my photograph it's the brick work and how the redness comes through. I got the model to pose in front of the old blue decayed door which also contrasted against her pink top. When editing I increased the contrast and placed a warm filter over the top to increase the orange in the bricks.

On this photograph, I tried to shoot from different angles and was
able to ask the model to go down some steps that was around the
Church we were shooting at. I placed the model in blues to create
a contrast between what she was wearing and the red bricks. With
her holding on to the door handle which was down there it makes
you wonder where she is going and also while looking straight at
the camera and within her face there is a feel of attitude.

When Editing I increased the contrast and Burnt in some more
colour on areas such as the brick to create a better contrast
between the brick and the models blue jeans and jacket, the
graffiti on this shot works well due to the attitude on the models
pose and the sunglasses, they all have a link.

The colours with the gate and the dress both complement each other there are similar tones that are placed together which works well. There isn't much contrast to do with colour however the composition works well, also how the model is places around a rule of third also works well due to your eye automatically being drawn to her. The model looking away makes you wonder what shes looking at or waiting for and also she has a very strong jaw line which draws you to look at her face.

Tim  Walker....
This set was inspired by Tim Walker,  I decided to look at settings and how he takes the inside out and brings the outside indoors, I chose this area of my garden to create the set because of its closes enviroment because of the many trees and also this helps because of the trees i was able to hang props from the trees and help create a more magical and 'fairy tale' secne. I found the Vintage props around the house that where in the garage and also the old three legged table I found in the shed at the bottom of the garden.

Here I got the model Emma to sit on the vintage radiator to create a different composition and also place her on a rule of third, to draw peoples eyes towards her. When setting up, I was looking for vintage furniture to create a 'fairy tale' like scene, I also chose this dress due to how it reflected the light and how elegant it looked a flowed, wearing socks as well looked better and it broke it up a bit more and just made it a but different. When editing changed the exposure to lighten it and placed a warm coloured filter over the top to give a warm feel. The light that comes down through the trees works well and helps towards the magical feel.

Inspired by Craig McDean....
By using cellophane i created the same look and pose which Craig Mc Dean created when
editing I increased the exposure to allow the brightness of the pink cellophane, also
I had the studio light on one side only to try create a better contrast on one side of the body.

When taking this photo I was inspired by the London stylist Hanni Bow, Which was how she used jewllery in the models hair and how she pinned up her hair. With this Shoot I chose this model due to her having very long hair and I was able to do a lot with it such as put it in a bow on her head and place a necklace around it. For the pose I asked the model to look to the right of me and towards the studio light which I had set up. Her head is held up high and her pose is very elegant and regal. What I also like is how her eyes aren't looking at the camera but straight forward so you wonder what she's looking into the distance for.

Melissa Rodwell.......
Inspired by Melissa Rodwell,  it was the darkness that I was first looking for, however when I was taking my set I realised that the lighter background with dark hair and dress works well.  The pose is strong and very important. The colour that I added on her face just makes the photograph a little bit more interesting.

The reason for this Photograph is because of the composition, and how I've editied and cropped the photograph.
The composition of this photo works well due to her being on a rule of third I also like the lightness of the right side of the photograph compared to the left, This is due to where I placed the studio lighting.

Candace Meyer....
When looking at Candace Meyer photographs, I liked the way she used light in her photographs and how the light shone though the models hair. When taking these photographs I used the horse because I thought it made things a little bit different, I know that Candace has used Horse's before in her photo shoots however she hasn't to do with light coming through from behind them.

Here the natural light was coming from and angle from above, so it created shadows on the models faces and on the green gate, It also created texture and shadows on the black shed that it behind them. I placed one girl in black and one girl in white to resemble the work or Candace as she has done this on one of her shoots when using two female models.

Christian Anwander....

When taking theses photographs, I used google maps as a resource to find the best
place to take them, I went to a local skate pack in Hessel. I thought that this would be a
good setting for this set of photos due to the graffiti on the ramps and the strong structures
or the ramps in the back ground also the Humber Bridge is in the background which is a key
Part of another photo that I took in this set. I placed bandages on the Models face as
thats what Christian Anwamder did which I like as it hides their identity and makes it
more interesting.

When editing this photograph I have changed the exposure and lightened and
decreased the contrast so you are able to see more detail in the suit and on the
Bag.  However when doing this because of the intensity of the sun behind him
I lost some of the detail in the sky however I don't believe this has ruined the
image and you are still drawn to the figure on the stones holding a bag.

This photograph was taken on the Foreshore, Here there had been a tree washed up onto the shore, I got the model to sit down and read the newspaper what I like the most about this shot is the fact it is so natural due to the wind blowing and he is trying to keep them all together and stop them from blowing away... Also due to the sun being behind me taking the photograph you can see a lot of shadows in the background and on the tree which he's sat on which gives the photograph character.

On this photograph the pose of the model it what I love, the important stance that his holding showing he's in change leaning on his umbrella and wearing a suit showing that he's in charge, I found the set on the Humber River... the sun was also in front of him for that created lots of shadows and showed lots of detail.
